The best
Simply the best lighters our there. Have used these since they came out as the X-Tend series. I have several (all the same brushed finish). The Maxijets while indeed "Made in China" are actually superior to the former "Made in France" X-Tend models. Also, this basic Maxijet model is in my opinion much nicer than the Extreme versions and slip in ones pocket more easily. The lack of large flame adjustment dial on the bottom is a plus in my book. Set it once and leave it alone. These are also very economical with fuel. I think the higher price of the Dupont is well worth it.

Poor Quality...
Mine was defective right out of the box, Chinese junk..I read numerous reviews and many say these over priced Maxijets stop working right after the 2 year warrant expires. One guy said he and 3 buddies all had them quit around 24-25 months. Dupont is selling expensive lighters made in China that are junk..
