It’s as described. I use it to write my prayers for my family in the empty space. As with all the Bible, the pages are thin, so I use pencil to write in it. The font is a bit smaller but one can read with ease. Overall it is a wonderful gift to yourself or your loved one.

The book (Journal bible) is very good with hard bind. The packing was not good as chances of damage is high.

Thin silver paper but it's good build quality so nothing to worry. Nice leather cover. Texts are small so some people may find it hard to read but no problem for me. Worth the price.

It’s awesome.. Sleek and easy to carry wherever we go. We can easily get it packed in our hand baggage during travel. The paper quality is very good with larger print. No one will regret after purchasing this Bible.

Printed on good paper, and excellent binding, large fonts, easy to read for those dependent on reading glasses. this BIBLE is recomended Great value for your money.....

Very nice bible.

The bible is good as I have got what I wanted, the size, words size and cover with zip. Over all good. Paper quality I don't know, it will know after 3 4 years may be. LxB, is 10x7 approx.good size. In New testament is highlighted by red colour which was spoken by Jesus himself.

The NIV Thinline Large Print Bible is excellent. As described, it does lie flat, which many Bibles do not do. The text is large enough to read, although may still be too small for some readers. The 2011 NIV text is far superior to the 1984 text (for example, "third hour" has now been replaced with "nine in the morning" which makes more sense to modern readers). Although some may say that gender neutral language has crept into this translation, it is only used where the original Greek or Hebrew would demand it and is always used in context. For me the 2011 NIV is a winner and is sure to become the translation of choice for many Christians.

I like this because the writing it is a bit bigger than normal writing. The only negative I have is, that, the pages are very thin and if you was to highlight it shows on the other side and also you can see the writing from the other page, this can distract you when you read, but I am OK. I bought it for my husband but he did not like it because he could see the writing from the previous page.

The pages are a bit thin but if they were thicker it would be too heavy. The print isn't huge but if it was bigger the book would be too big. So this is a great compromise between a normal small print Bible and something you'd need a stand to support. And the NIV is the best reading Bible by far - the Psalms are sheer poetry - so yes I would highly recommend it.

It's always hard to balance the size of print with the actual size of the complete volume so that it isn't too cumbersome. Unfortunately previews were inadequate and I was disappointed with the size as it was intended for my elderly father who was keen to have a Bible that he can actually read. I am hoping his new glasses will help, otherwise I shall be looking for a whole page magnifier.

This bible was bought for someone in a Bible Study group, who needed the larger print size. She was deligted with this choice and is using it regularly with great pleasure. She particularly liked the larger print, the annotations and Christ's words shown in red. A very nice product
